Harvesting / Extraction Information - The essential oil of spearmint is extracted by steam distillation of the flowering tops of the spearmint plant. The main components of this oil are alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, carvone, cineole, caryophyllene, linalool, limonene, menthol, and myrcene.
