Aromatic summary / note / strength - A top note with a strong aroma. Petitgrain smells like orange blossoms, but less floral, more herbaceous, and with a bitter undertone.

Harvesting / Extraction Information - Petitgrain is distilled from the leaves and twigs. In Paraguay, the trees are typically grown in small plantations with trimmed rows to maximize leaf production and facilitate harvesting. This is done by hand with a machete and collected and loaded onto ox-drawn carts.
