Harvesting / Extraction Information - Petitgrain is distilled from the leaves and twigs. In Paraguay, the trees are typically grown in small plantations with trimmed rows to maximize leaf production and facilitate harvesting. This is done by hand with a machete and collected and loaded onto ox-drawn carts.
