Information on harvesting / extraction - The essential oil of mint mint is extracted by steam distillation of the flowering tops of the mint. The main components of this oil are alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, carvone, cineole, caryophyllene, linalool, limonene, menthol and myrcene.
